Climate Hero: Dr. Susan M. Natali, Woodwell Climate Research Center
Reflection
Reflection

Around the clean streak made by the window wiper is a very polluted landscape. The hand holding the window wiper symbolises everyone’s hand, working together to change the environment for a better world. I cut and glued some climate change-related words from a description of my hero, Dr. Susan M. Natali, onto the polar bear. Since the theme of the competition this year was “Eco-Heroes”, I decided to make the main characters look more hero-like by giving them a globe medal and some capes. The message of my piece is that not just one, but every single person has to contribute to this movement if we want to save the ecosystem.
